PINETTE PEI is a designer and supplier of hydraulic presses and forming lines dedicated to the production of plastic, composite and rubber interior parts for the automotive industry. We take great pride in serving tier-one suppliers to the automotive industry with our turnkey solutions.

We supply compact, automated production lines that deliver optimum performance in terms of cycle times, precision, reliability and energy savings. All our equipment complies with international design and safety standards (CE, UL OSHA and GOST).

In addition to production solutions for exterior and interior parts (plastics, composites and rubbers), PINETTE PEI. is a supplier of forming lines dedicated to the manufacture of clutch facings, brake pads and other seals. For customers working on special applications, we can also design and manufacture customized machines and production lines.

Dashboards

We supply our customers with automated multi-station lines for the production of instrument panels using the PU polyurethane injection molding process in a closed mold. This highly reliable system features a double shuttle table for rapid tool transfer and optimum productivity.

Carpets

PINETTE PEI offers various industrial solutions for mat production, adapted to the type of raw material and the type of stamping required (conventional or deep drawing). The company offers a high-performance production line with an innovative needle gripper system, enabling rapid changeover of gripper module and mold. For deep-drawing applications, PINETTE PEI supplies lines equipped with a gripper transfer system optimizing tension control during the heating and compression stages.

Pavilions

PINETTE PEI also supplies thermoforming lines for the production of PU polyurethane flags. These production lines include a forming press, automated tool changeover, automated loading/unloading, control and supervision systems. Thanks to these devices, our customers can achieve optimized cycle times for their manufacturing processes, and thus improve their competitiveness.

For thermoforming aprons and tunnels, we use carpet back foaming technology to produce finished parts combining heavy mass and polyurethane foam.

Headrests

We also supply multi-station carousels for producing headrests by injecting PU polyurethane foam into closed molds. These rotating carousels can comprise up to 24 stations with automatic or manual tool handling systems. The injection machine, which is operated by a robot, has a dedicated cleaning unit. This production line can produce up to 10,000 parts per day.

Exterior

Underframe panel

PINETTE PEI offers automated, modular solutions for thermoforming protective panels for car under-bodies. Their standard line includes two hydraulic presses with heated platens, a cold-forming press, and can form multilayers with materials such as non-woven textiles. The line is also equipped with unwinding, cutting and handling systems, infrared ovens, and a conveyor for material transfer. Loading, unloading and tool changeover operations are automated, enabling 30-second cycles and rapid production changeovers. The entire process is automatically controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) and a supervisory PC to ensure high productivity.

These presses – up to 40,000 kN – are equipped with an active parallelism control system, and can be combined with peripheral systems such as loading/unloading robots and cutting units.

Wheel arches

PINETTE PEI offers an automated, modular thermoforming line for the production of carpeted wheel arches, using Kenaf fiber-reinforced polypropylene-based composites. This line achieves cycle times of 50 seconds or less for blanks up to 3000 x 2000 mm. It includes a pick & place manipulator with needle grippers, a moving table for transfer to the infrared oven, and a dynamic handling system for transporting and tensioning the blanks during forming. Features such as automatic unloading, a rapid tool change system, and automated process control via a PLC, ensure ease of use and high productivity.

Soundproofed air circulation hose

Brake pads

PINETTE PEI is a key partner for suppliers to the automotive industry, specializing in the production of brake pads and clutch facings. The company has designed and supplied multi-cavity production machines for the manufacture of brake pads in thermoset composites. These installations can take the form of carousels or press lines. The carousel, which can accommodate up to 19 cavities, incorporates an advanced force and temperature control system for enhanced precision.

Clutch facings and discs

We supply turnkey lines with automatic loading & unloading for producing friction linings and attaching them to clutch discs. The lining is obtained by compressing powders made from thermosetting resins, mineral and organic fillers and fibers.

PINETTE PEI supplies automatic forming lines for converting multilayer materials such as glass fibers and non-woven textiles into thermal protection sheets and felt sheets for engine sound insulation. These lines integrate unwinders, cutting units, and compression and cutting presses, with steam or electric heating. Thanks to automated control and manual or automatic unloading options, they optimize production cycles and reduce labor requirements, improving customer competitiveness.
