RTM resin transfer molding and HP-RTM high-pressure resin transfer molding are industrial production processes used to produce structural composite parts with very high mechanical properties. Thanks to its expertise as a supplier of machinery for thermoforming composites and its collaborative approach to innovation, PINETTE PEI offers RTM and HP-RTM presses and fully automated production lines.
PINETTE PEI in partnership with the German technical center DLR, has built a high-speed RTM production cell to manufacture carbon fibers and epoxy resin parts for automotive and aerospace applications, using the resin transfer molding process. This robotized island has been designed to improve the yields of this process and make it a more credible alternative to the production methods currently used. This fully-automated production line is capable of producing up to 100,000 parts a year, and comprises :
This high-speed production line has been designed to guarantee safe, ergonomic access to the various modules. The cell also complies with international and regional design and safety standards. PINETTE PEI also offers a remote maintenance modem to quickly deal with any problems and speed up the return to full production.

PINETTE PEI also designs and builds automated RTM production lines with multi-tool handling systems. This system offers great versatility and excellent productivity, since the preparatory work and the tasks to be carried out after forming are carried out at the same time as the part forming cycle (the manipulator and the design of this line make it possible to handle up to 10 molds). Platens size and press capacity can be adapted to suit customer requirements. This line comprises a press and various peripheral equipment:
We supply laboratory RTM presses and systems for R&D and small batch production.
