PINETTE PEI is a supplier of test benches – from 10,000 kN to 30,000 kN – dedicated to structural testing of premium pipe connections – ISO 13679 and 12835 standards. We design, manufacture and supply test equipment for industrial suppliers of oil and gas well equipment (OCTG). More than 10 of these testing machines are in service worldwide, qualifying threaded connections and guaranteeing their resistance to increasingly extreme operating conditions.
Test rigs designed, manufactured and supplied by PINETTE PEI enable testing and qualification programs to be carried out on premium casing and production tube connections in compliance with ISO 13679 and ISO 12835 test methods. The latest test rig from PINETTE PEI has a force of 30,000 kN (6.7 Mlf) and can apply a bending force of up to 10,000 kN / m (160° / 100 ft).
This range of high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) test benches is designed to simulate the extreme conditions encountered in the field by simultaneously applying tension, compression and bending forces to connections, while simultaneously subjecting them to extreme temperatures and pressures [3000 bar (43500PSI); 360°C (680°F)].
The accuracy of tension and compression measurements for these combined load tests is + / – 1%. This level of accuracy is achieved even on very low-stress test programs. Our machines are designed to comply with the regulatory standards in force in our customers’ countries and geographical areas, such as CE, UL or GOST.
The rapid loading and unloading operations and the data acquisition system enable engineers and technicians to quickly identify, analyze and understand any problems that may be encountered on the specimens being tested, thus reducing test times.
The PINETTE PEI test benches are designed to be installed in a pit to guarantee operator safety. What’s more, the HD camera monitoring system and easy access to test specimens are designed to eliminate all potentially dangerous situations.
