Our molds in welded steel have a very high rigidity, which permits to secure the parts geometry and to ensure a high precision. All the molds are designed to be operator friendly and show a high reliability, after 15 years of production for the oldest ones.
Molding workstations can process composite parts with length up to 6,500 mm, width of up to 3,500 mm and diameter up to 4,000 mm in order to fulfill each of our customers' needs.
Molds for satellite solar panels
Pinette P.E.I. supplies molds for satellite solar panels, made of welded INVAR steel. The adjustable geometry of this range of mold compensates the deformation of the parts after curing, even for parts with length up to 4,500 mm and width up to 3,500 mm. Our products also guarantee geometry of the molded parts with an excellent flatness and high repeatability.

Cutting unit for ARIANE 5 cryogenic tanks insulating panels
Along assembly means, Pinette P.E.I. provides cutting unit of insulating panels for cryogenic tanks of the ARIANE 5 launcher.
- Work on panels up to 2,500 x 2,500 mm dimension and a spherical radius of 3,000 mm
- 3 axes CNC
- Precision of +/- 0.2 mm.
This production mean needs only low maintenance, as it has been used for more than 15 years without intervention except preventive maintenance.
