TIFAANI

PINETTE PEI has built its brand-new development platform, named TIFAANI for Technology for Innovative Forming of Advanced Aerostructure with New thermoplastIcs

It is designed for our customers to prototype composite parts, or test new materials, recipes or processes. It is also a full-scale laboratory, enabling PINETTE PEI to shape the press of tomorrow by testing new technological advances to make future machines more reliable, more connected and less energy-consuming. Its final function is to serve as a training tool: techniques, processes, maintenance, robotics, manufacturing, etc.

TIFAANI is located at PINETTE PEI’s French headquarters in Chalon sur Saône. The processes available will cater for a wide range of applications in the composites value chain, from raw material to end use, including aeronautics, automotive, defense, building and civil engineering, electrical appliances, renewable energies, sports and leisure, medical, R&D centers and collaborative projects.

"Our aim is to support the megatrends of our markets and the future of our customers. With TIFAANI, we offer our partners total confidentiality to develop and test their new products under real industrial conditions. Designed to adapt to a wide variety of technologies and equipped with A.I.-enhanced sensors and software to improve customer revenue and energy efficiency, it should contribute to the future of our industry in the service of a safer, more sustainable planet."

TIFAANI was unveiled at JEC Wolrd 2023 and inaugurated at PINETTE PEI ‘s 160th anniversary celebration in September 2023.

TIFAANI is a France Relance project.

TIFAANI +
Composites Academy

Our partnership with Composites Academy is strengthened by the integration of a stamping simulator into our TIFAANI platform. This strategic integration of the simulator with our press will optimize process parameter settings. By implementing this simulation software directly on the PINETTE PEI machines, we will revolutionize the user experience by refining the precision of stamping processes through continuous updates of the software database. As this database grows, our digital twin becomes more accurate, enabling fine-tuning of parameters for each specific application.

By combining our state-of-the-art equipment with an advanced simulator and artificial intelligence, we place our customers at the forefront of technology, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to innovate and excel.
