During our participation in the Paris Air Show – Le Bourget, we reached a major milestone in the development of advanced manufacturing solutions for the aerospace industry: the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KVE by Daher, a specialist in induction welding of thermoplastic composites.
A strategic partnership, a shared vision
This partnership seals a close collaboration between two century-old companies – PINETTE PEI and Daher, both founded in 1863 – united by the same passion for innovation, industrial quality and sustainable performance.
The aim? To offer an integrated solution for forming and assembling thermoplastic composites on a global scale. This non-exclusive partnership is based on :
PINETTE PEI ‘s industrial expertise in high-speed forming lines,
and KVE INDUCT induction welding technology.
The synergy between our two areas of expertise will enable aerospace manufacturers to :
Reduce part weight
Optimize cycle times
Improving the recyclability of materials
Reduce production costs
And increase the dimensions and performance of the parts produced
PINETTE PEI will be responsible for the overall design and manufacture of the production cells, while KVE will supply the welding-specific modules and develop the appropriate tooling.
To promote these technologies and support our customers, an induction welding cell will shortly be installed on our TIFAANI platform. This demonstrator will enable us to conduct R&D programs, validate processes, and test synergies between material preparation, forming, welding and non-destructive testing (NDT).
They’re talking about :
“This partnership with PINETTE PEI marks a key step in the worldwide deployment of our KVE INDUCT technology”
– Pierre Rouch, Managing Director of KVE by Daher.
“Our customers will now benefit from a comprehensive, integrated, automated and supervised solution for the manufacture of thermoplastic composite parts. A major step forward in terms of quality and productivity”
– Erick Rousseau, President of PINETTE PEI.
