PINETTE PEI

Composites TP Team starts at JEC World 2025!

Coriolis Composites, Pinette PEI, Institut de Soudure, Loiretech and Cetim officially launched a new grouping of excellence in thermoplastic composites at the world composites trade fair.

On the occasion of JEC World, the world’s leading composites event, five French companies specializing in thermoplastic composites (TP) have joined forces to create Composites TP Team. The group includes Coriolis Composites, Pinette PEI, Institut de Soudure, Loiretech and Cetim.

Together, the five partners offer manufacturers from all sectors a comprehensive range of services covering all stages of the thermoplastic composites value chain, from development to industrialization of high value-added applications. The aim is to offer more efficient, sustainable and economical industrial applications, while supporting the decarbonization of industry.

Meeting the challenges of French and international manufacturers

Estimated at 4.7 million tonnes in 2024, the size of the international thermoplastic composites market should reach 6 million tonnes by 2029, according to Mordor Intelligence, with an annual growth rate of 5%. These figures testify to the growth of these composites in various industrial sectors, notably aeronautics, automotive and renewable energies, where performance and decarbonization are key issues. The remarkable characteristics of these materials, combining lightness, recyclability, robustness and economic advantages, represent a considerable asset for accelerating the energy transition of industry. By integrating thermoplastic composites into their applications, manufacturers are responding to growing demands for sustainability and energy efficiency, and improving the overall performance of their products.

The Composites TP Team offer is aimed at all industrial players, whether novice or experienced, wishing to acquire or supplement their skills and/or resources to develop and industrialize thermoplastic composite parts:

  • Technical and economic feasibility study
  • Pre-design study and detailed design (design and choice of materials)
  • Tool design and production
  • Process development and fine-tuning (industrial resources and tooling)
  • Prototyping, assembly and testing
  • Non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • Assembly and validation testing of parts
  • Skills transfer and training

Building on the recognition of high value-added projects already carried out jointly, the relevance of Composites TP Team is based on the complementary skills and cutting-edge expertise of its members. With Composites TP Team, manufacturers benefit from a single point of entry to access a comprehensive, integrated range of services.
